Three people have been charged after heroin, crack cocaine, diazepam and cannabis was seized in two north-east towns.
A 35-year-old man from Sheffield was stopped in the West Road area of Fraserburgh on Wednesday and was charged following the recovery of drugs worth around £2,000.
He is due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today.
A 20-year-old local woman was also charged and is due to appear in court at a later date.
And in Ellon, a 34-year-old woman was charged after heroin and diazepam, worth an estimated £800, were recovered in the Cooper’s Court area of the town yesterday.
She is due to appear in court at a later date.
Detective Sergeant Sam Buchan said: “We are committed to tackling those intent on supplying drugs to our communities under Operation Aspen and will proactively target those who are determined to bring drugs to this area with the sole purpose of making money.
