Thousands of people packed out an Aberdeen venue this weekend for a celebration of all things gaming and geek.
4TG Game Con at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre spanned the generations, with 80s and 90s era consoles and computers rubbing shoulders with the latest in virtual reality tech.
The two-day event attracted a mix of families, hardcore gamers and cosplayers, who got into the spirit of the event by dressing up as their favourite gaming or movie characters.
Visitors to 4TG Game Con could play a massive selection of retro games and arcade classics, as well as visit areas dedicated to Minecraft and in-development indie games.
For more serious gamers there was the chance to compete for a shared prize pot of nearly £4,000 as Street Fighter and Overwatch experts competed head-to-head.
The Q&A panels for well-known Scottish YouTube and Twitch streamers were also well attended and gave the visitors the chance to quiz their favourites.
