
A number of Aberdeen city centre roads are set to be closed to drivers today to make way for the Grampian Pride event.
The entire length of Union Street will be shut from 10am to 1pm, with the procession leaving Holburn Junction at 10.30am.
Restrictions will also be in place on additional roads – Holburn Street, Chapel Street, Union Row, Bon Accord Street, South Silver Street, Crown Street, Diamond Street, Union Terrace, Bridge Street, Back Wynd, Market Street, St Catherines Wynd, Broad Street, Exchequer Row and Marischal Street from 10am to 1pm.
Additional routes will also be closed from 9am to noon while work takes place to prepare for the parade.
The roads which will be restricted to drivers at this time are Albyn Place, Alford Place, Castle Street, King Street, Prince Arthur Street, Albyn Grove – between Albyn Place and Albyn Lane, and Albyn Place and Queen’s Terrace – Rubislaw Place and Victoria Street.
