A NORTH-EAST MSP has today told Holyrood there is “no crisis” in the oil and gas industry.
Aberdeenshire West MSP Dennis Robertson spoke as Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale was setting out the effects of the falling oil price on Scottish jobs.
He said: “The member has just mentioned a crisis in jobs for the North-east – there is no crisis.
“We have just extracted more oil than ever before in the North Sea.
“We have the most skilled workforce in the North Sea and it is booming.”
