Temporary traffic signals are set to be in place on a busy Aberdeen road while work on the city bypass is carried out.
Aberdeen City Council has announced the measure, which will be in place for around a day-and-a-half on the outskirts of Peterculter.
The temporary traffic signals will be in operation on the A93 North Deeside Road later this week.
These measures will be in place from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Thursday and the same times the following day.
The measure is necessary while work is carried out on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR).
The temporary traffic signals are being installed at the junction with the B979 Milltimber Brae.
In the past temporary traffic lights at the spot have seen long delays for drivers.
