A teenager has been charged in connection with graffiti in a North-east town.
The 17-year-old has been charged in relation to a spate of vandalism in Huntly.
A report is being sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Last month officers received reports of a number of offensive terms being spray painted on walls in the town.
PC Arnott said: “I would like to thank those members of the local community who assisted with our investigation.”
She added: “Vandalism can affect the quality of life for a community and can also be extremely costly for home owners and authorities to clean up. Such acts anywhere in the North-east won’t be tolerated and enquiries carried out to identify those responsible.”
