Boy, 14, charged after vandal attacks on vehicles and schools

A fourteen-year-old boy has been accused of damaging 11 vehicles and vandalising two schools in the North-east.

On recent weekends in Inverurie, St Andrew’s Primary School has been vandalised three times and Market Place Primary School once and 11 vehicles have been damaged in or near the town centre.

Inspector Darren Bruce, of the Garioch Community Policing Team said: “A 14-year-old male youth from Inverurie has now been charged in relation to 15 alleged crimes which have occurred over recent weeks including 11 incidents of damage to vehicles, three vandalisms at St Andrew’s Primary School and a further vandalism at Market Place Primary School.”
