A north-east teen has admitted raiding a jewellery store and stealing goods.
Jay Alexander, 18, appeared in court after pleading guilty to breaking into Gaelo in Alford and stealing jewellery on January 2, and possession of cannabis.
Fiscal depute Karen Dow said he smashed a window to gain entry, injuring his hand. Defence agent Les Green said his client, of East Gallow Hill, Alford, was a first offender and had issues with drugs.
Sheriff Philip Mann deferred sentence until next year for him to be of good behaviour.
