A football club has paid tribute to a North-east youngster who died after falling from a tree.
Lachlan MacKenzie, 12, of Muir of Fowlis, near Alford, died in the incident which happened while he was visiting relatives in Troon.
Now Donside Juveniles, the football club Lachlan played for, have sent their condolences.
Lachlan was a goalkeeper for the 2004 club, who currently play in the under-13 B league within the Juveniles.
A minute’s applause was also held in memory of young Lachlan before a match involving Stonehaven Youth and Donside.
