Five lucky Evening Express winners will be getting a good night’s sleep after they were named the winners of a competition to receive a bed and mattress.
The quintet – Donna Douglas, Ian Anderson, Kerry Walker, Anne Davidson and Brenda Hogg – have all received beds and mattresses from Duncan’s of Banchory after collecting tokens.
Turriff resident Donna, 43, said: “I was absolutely ecstatic when I found out I’d won. It was really my mum Irene who had been collecting the tokens, but she knew I had been looking at picking a new bed.
“I just thought it was going to be so expensive so this win has come at exactly the right time for me.
“I’m just grateful to my mum!”
