At least two GPs have quit a city surgery, leading to emergency cover being brought in.
NHS Grampian confirmed the Northfield and Mastrick practice had been left without full cover.
The health board has a legal obligation to provide a GP so patients will still be able to access a doctor.
A letter sent to patients said: “Unfortunately, recent GP resignations together with national and local difficulties in GP recruitment have resulted in a challenging situation around GP staffing at the practice.”
Councillor Gordon Graham said: “I’m aware a significant number of GPs have resigned from the Northfield and Mastrick Medical Practice.
“These resignations will put undue pressure on existing staff and patients within my ward who use the NHS.
“My concerns are for patients who rely on using the Northfield and Mastrick Medical Practice because many in the area are either elderly or have medical conditions which require a good GP service.”
