An Aberdeen university student has been chosen to work on the world’s biggest one-day leadership event.
Rebecca Skinner, a third year public relations student from Robert Gordon University (RGU), was selected to work as the marketing and PR co-ordinator for the event.
Total Perspectives hosts of the annual Leadercast event, which is streamed live to hundreds of thousands of people in different locations across the world from America.
The Aberdeen event will be hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton Treetops in Craigiebuckler on May 4.
Rebecca was tasked with creating a marketing plan for the Hilton event, as well as taking control of the company’s social media accounts.
She said: “I have really enjoyed the trust Edosa Akioya, the director at Total Perspectives, and the rest of the organisation have put in me.
“I have gained an insight to the industry and each day is preparing me for my future career in different ways.
“Being involved in such a high-calibre event and seeing it come together from the beginning has been invaluable and I feel it is really helping me prepare myself for a future career in PR.”
Elizabeth Gammie, head of RGU’s business school, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be involved in this year’s Leadercast Live.”
