FOUR design graduates are celebrating after their homeware products hit the shelves of a North-east shop.
Hammerton Store, on Great Western Road, has started stocking the work of Gregor Wittrick, 22, Carmel Wilkinson-Ayre, 22, Natalie Wood, 25, and Hannah Morrison, 22, who all graduated from Gray’s School of Art in July.
The store is run by former Gray’s student Susan Watson and, for some of the graduates, it is the first time their work has been stocked.
Among the work available for purchase is Gregor’s series of small vessels, which were created as part of his graduate project.
Carmel has recently launched a new A/W 15 line of cups, a selection of which are now being stocked at the store. Hannah’s glasswork is also on sale.
Gregor said: “I’m very pleased that Hammerton is my first stockist.
“It’s nice to feel supported at a local level, especially by people as enthusiastic about the arts community of Aberdeen.”
