The standards at an Aberdeen care home have been rated “weak” by inspectors.
The Care Inspectorate rated standards at Banks o’ Dee Care Home “weak” – the second from bottom of six possible ratings – after an inspection in September.
In the report, monitors said the home, in Abbotswell Road, Tullos, sometimes did not have enough staff and staff morale was poor.

The report said: “A few residents said they found the evenings long and said there was nothing to do.”
A spokesman for the home said: “Since the inspection we have made it a priority to improve the service and our residents’ experience.”
