Staff and partners at a law firm have donned fancy dress and running shoes in an effort to raise cash for charity.
Runners and cyclists from Stronachs LLP took part in various sporting events throughout August raising £1,800 for nominated charity Friends of ANCHOR, which provides funding for medical equipment, patient wellbeing and research.
That brings the firm’s total for 2017 to £13,000, closing in on its £20,000 target.
The team donned judge costumes to tackle The Anchor Wipeout Challenge with others taking on the Great Aberdeen Run and the Ride the North two-day cycling event to support the charity’s work.
Liane Munro, Stronachs leasing administrator, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last weeks – either by sponsoring us or turning up on the day to cheer us on at the starting line.
“We have been completely overwhelmed by the generosity of our staff, clients and the public throughout our fundraising campaign for Friends of ANCHOR and we are thrilled to have generated so many donations so far.
“We are looking forward to continuing our fundraising efforts for this fantastic local charity in the coming months.”
