Attentive staff help children at an Aberdeen university’s nursery, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited Rocking Horse Nursery at Aberdeen University on July 31 and have now published their report.
The nursery can look after up to 78 children aged under six and inspectors rated staff “very good” – the second best of six possible ratings.
“All children clearly enjoyed child-led play, allowing them to follow their interests supported by interested and attentive staff,” said the report.
It added: “All children had direct access to the outdoors and experienced daily, safe, active and energetic play.”
