Sky watchers have been sending us their stunning images of last night’s Aurora Borealis display.
Weather conditions were ideal for North-east Northern Lights watchers last night.
Combined with reasonably high solar activity throughout the night, especially from 10pm onwards, the chance to see the Aurora in the North-east was very good.
The best chance to see the stunning natural phenomena was well away from Aberdeen and major towns in Aberdeenshire.
Locations like Rattray Head and Stonehaven’s war memorial are popular locations for photographers.
If you captured any images last night we would love to see them and feature them on our website, e-mail your pictures to Callum.main@ajl.co.uk
