A new snacks and dessert shop is to open in Aberdeen next week, serving up delicious sweet treats.
Boost will feature a range of luxury ice creams, cakes (including gluten-free), snacks, and smoothies.
Ice cream lovers will also be able to enjoy a wide range of flavours from classics like, as vanilla and raspberry ripple, through to more gourmet tastes like New York lime cheesecake and white chocolate fudge brownie.
All the flavours are the creation of luxury ice cream business S Luca, which began in the 1890 when Luca Scappaticcio left his home in Italy for Scotland.
Businessman Mohammad Alam, of Tillydrone, was inspired to open the shop on Powis Terrace after a trip to Italy.
The 39-year-old said: “I was on holiday in Italy and there was one shop there that was really busy and served ice cream for £1.
“Everyone was really happy and I decided I wanted to open something like that here.”
Customers will be able to sit-in or take-away and enjoy a range of snacks, coffees and beverages.
A range of paninis will also be on sale.
The menu also includes a variety of samosas and sandwiches.
There’s a variety of healthy and tasty smoothies on the menu, including mango and orange, carrot and apple.
Mohammad, who studied mechanical engineering at Robert Gordon University, hopes the location means the outlet will be popular with students and families.
He said: “The university is nearby and we hope it will attract families.
“It is close to Kittybrewster Retail Park and Berryden, so it is a very, very good area.
“The location is an advantage so we hope it will be very busy.”
The new shop is expected to create around 10 jobs and will open on Monday, February 20.
