Aberdeenshire council is to review speeding measures on a busy North-east road.
The local authority are to undertake a review of the traffic-calming steps on the A937 through Marykirk.
North-east MSP Mike Rumbles welcomed the news.
He said: “I’m pleased that the council have decided to take immediate action to assess the situation in Marykirk.
“The last traffic report on the main street was carried out in 2014 and in that time our local Aberdeenshire roads have only become busier and busier.”
