A north-east community has seen new solar lights installed as part of a project.
The Potterton Community Group has been fundraising to purchase the lights from its monthly pop-up cafe to brighten up the area after dark.
It comes after work to improve the path between the Stead Inn and the football pitches was carried out last year.
The solar lights project was made possible with additional support from E.B Scotland and the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund.
Work started in October, and was carried out over three weekends, with the final light put in at the end of last month.
Further work is now planned to tackle the weeds along the path, with a further layer of quarry dust also to be laid early next year, following the winter.
