A crackdown on speeding in the north-east has seen several people charged.
An operation was carried out by police officers on the A96 between Inverurie and Huntly, in a bid to tackle illegal and irresponsible driving.
Six people were charged after being caught travelling at excessive speeds.
One motorcycle was found to be driving at 111mph, with other motorists were caught at 95mph, 93mph, 91mph and two at 90mph.
Road Policing Inspector Neil Morrison, said: “The A96 is one of the busiest routes in the north-east so it is crucial that motorists use it safely and responsibly.
“Anyone who believes that speeding is a trivial offence needs to think again – driving at excessive speeds can have a devastating impact on the safety of road users and increases both the risk of a collision and the seriousness of the consequences.
“Anyone with concerns about a driver’s behaviour should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
