Diners in an Aberdeen restaurant got a treat last night when legendary rocker Sir Rod Stewart stopped by.
The singer posed for pictures with staff and customers at The Silver Darling restaurant in Pocra Quay.
The die-hard Celtic fan was in the city before Aberdeen’s 3-0 defeat to Celtic.
Sir Rod also signed the restaurants guest book and posed with pictures with fans before the game.
Pictures were posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page with the caption: “Tonight’s the night. Delighted to host a very special guest for some dinner this evening. #thesilverdarling”
Jillian Miller, marketing manager for the restaurant, said: “He was there for a couple of hours for dinner with friends before the football.
“He was the perfect gent and some lucky customers and staff managed to get their picture with him. It was his first visit to The Silver Darling and he loved the place and the food. It was great to welcome a legend like Rod to the restaurant.”
