Organisers of the Great Aberdeen Family Run say they have just a few spaces left for people to enter their one-mile event.
Less than 50 spots are available for the Simplyhealth run – part of a day of running events.
The run begins on Union Street before finishing in front of the Music Hall.
Participants will follow a route along Back Wynd, Schoolhill, Rosemount Viaduct, Skene Street and Summer Street.
The event gives youngsters the chance to experience the thrill of running independently or alongside friends and family members, with thousands of locals spectating.
Childre aged three to 16 are encouraged to enter and take part in the run while being accompanied by an adult.
The one-mile course is to be held over the traffic-free circuit on August 26.
