A MINISTER spoke of his shock after discovering a burnt out van in an Aberdeen park.
Visitors to Stewart Park in Hilton came across the vehicle yesterday which had been left burning on the grass.
Police and fire crews were called to the spot just after 2.30am yesterday after flames were spotted billowing from the vehicle.
Police were unable to confirm whether the vehicle had been stolen.
The Rev Hutton Steel, minister at High Church Hilton, was taking a walk through the park early yesterday morning when he noticed the remains of the vehicle.
He said: “The burned out van is an example of how the park is in a steady decline.”
