A sexual assault took place in Aberdeen during the early hours of yesterday morning.
The incident occurred in the Walker Road/Grampian Lane area of Torry.
Police Scotland is now appealing for information and is keen to speak to anyone who would have been in the area between 3am and 4am.
Officers also wish to anyone who may have seen a light coloured estate type vehicle nearby at that time.
Detective Inspector Stuart McAdam said: “I would appeal for anyone who may have been in the area at that time and saw anything that they think may have been suspicious or saw a similar vehicle in the Torry area of Aberdeen in the early hours of Saturday morning to contact police as a priority.
“We are at the early stages of our enquiries, however I would urge anyone with information about this incident to get in touch.”
Following the incident, Grampian Lane was sealed off to any access with police on site.
