
The Met Office has issued weather warnings for snow, ice, rain and wind in the North-east.
There is a yellow warning of ice in place for Aberdeenshire and Moray from 6pm tonight until 9am tomorrow.
The forecaster also put out a yellow warning for rain in Aberdeenshire and Moray from 3pm tomorrow until 6pm on Friday.
It issued a yellow warning of wind for Aberdeenshire, Moray and Aberdeen from 3am until 6pm on Friday.
And there is a yellow warning in place for snow and ice in Moray from 9pm on Friday until 3pm on Saturday.
Yellow warnings mean ‘be aware’.
Regarding the ice warning tonight and tomorrow, the forecaster said: “Scattered, wintry showers are expected across Scotland this evening and overnight, and with road temperatures often falling below freezing there is the risk of some icy patches developing.
“These showers will also bring some snow accumulations above 150-200m, with some temporary wet snow to lover levels.”
