Seven people are expected to appear in court today in connection with two separate recoveries of drugs in Aberdeen.
Intelligence-led operations were carried out at an address in Constitution Street and another property on Union Street in Aberdeen yesterday.
A 55-year-old man and two women aged 38 and 34 have been charged in relation to alleged drugs offences following the search at Constitution Street where heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis valued at around £6,000 was recovered.
Two men, aged 48 and 35, and two women, aged 28 and 25, have been charged in relation to alleged drugs offences following the search at Union Street in Aberdeen where heroin and cocaine valued at around a high three-figure sum was recovered.
They are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Sergeant John Snedden said: “Police Scotland in the North-east is committed to tackling drug misuse and the illegal supply of drugs into our communities.
