A cyclist was in hospital today with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash in Aberdeenshire.
The 58-year-old man was airlifted to ARI after the accident on the B976 Birse to Finzean road, near Ballogie Nursery, shortly after 12pm yesterday.
No other vehicles were involved.
The cyclist was wearing black shorts, a white top and a white helmet. He was riding a white bike.
Road Policing Sergeant Rob Warnock said “I would appeal to anyone who may have seen the crash or who may have seen cyclist beforehand and who hasn’t yet spoken with police to do so to help us piece together exactly what happened.”
Anyone with information who hasn’t yet come forward should contact Police Scotland via 101.
