A flood alert for the north-east has been issued by SEPA.
Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire could be affected by isolated flooding issues due to high waves tomorrow.
In a statement on their website the agency said: “This flood alert is for coastal flooding. Low lying communities on the Aberdeenshire coast may experience isolated flooding issues during periods of high tide early on Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon.
“Moderate to high waves have the potential to cause some spray and wave overtopping in areas with an east or south east exposure. Current forecasts indicate that waves will be slightly higher early on Saturday morning than during the afternoon in these areas.”
