An Aberdeen man who died in a crash on the A90 has been named by police.
Kieran Innes, 24, was killed after his car crashed on the A90 between Aberdeen and Dundee.
Police and paramedics were called to the busy route near to the junction with the B9128 north of Forfar at about 7.45am yesterday.
One vehicle was involved in the incident.
Traffic on the southbound carriageway, heading towards Dundee, was disrupted while investigations into the smash are carried out.
A Police Scotland spokesman said a full investigation is being carried out.
He said: “Inquiries into the full set of circumstances of the incident are on-going and Tayside Division would appeal for anyone who may have information that could assist officers with their inquiries to contact the Tayside Division on 101.”
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
