The lawyer of a Netflix star is set to put on a second Aberdeen show due to a high demand from fans.
Steven Avery achieved fame in late 2015 when his story was told in the documentary series Making a Murderer.
Avery’s defence attorney Jerry Buting featured throughout the series and will give a talk at the Lemon Tree on August 14 at 7.30pm.
The Conversation with Jerry Buting talk sold out within hours of going on sale, so organisers have announced a second show on the same date at 10pm.
Tickets for the show go on sale at 9am on Monday from seetickets.com and they cost £19.80 plus booking fees.
The case gained recognition worldwide when the 10-part documentary aired.
Film-makers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos focused on the story of Manitowoc County man Steven Avery, who served 18 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.
He was exonerated in 2003 by DNA evidence, but found himself behind bars again for the murder of a local photographer, Teresa Halbach.
The series also covers the story of Avery’s nephew Brendan Dassey, who was also charged in the murder.
Tickets are available from aberdeenperformingarts.com, by phone on 01224 641122 or in person at the Box Office at The Lemon Tree and HMT.
