Searches for missing man William Ritchie are continuing as sightings of the pensioner continue to be reported to police.

The 90-year-old, known as Bill, was reported missing by his neighbours at West Road, Fraserburgh on January 14.

Since then searches by specialist officers, the local coastguard and the RNLI have been ongoing.

“This information has been crucial to help us build a picture of Bill’s daily routine and to identify places he was known to walk to.

“Today I appeal once again to anyone who saw Bill in the couple of weeks leading up to him being reported missing to please get in touch.

Police Scotland is continuing to appeal for information to help trace 90-year-old William Ritchie, who has been reported missing from his home in the Fraserburgh area.

“Our focus this week very much remains on continuing the search for Bill in the hope we can find him.”
