A north-east school has received a £5,000 funding boost.
Carronhill School in Stonehaven was awarded the cash from The Screwfix Foundation, which supports projects to fix, repair, and improve properties and facilities.
The funding went towards providing a wheelchair accessible swing and roundabout to the playground at the school.
Head teacher Katie Timney said: “We’d like to thank everyone who was involved in the fundraising – it’s been a great help to us.”
Rachael MacKay, deputy store manager of the Screwfix store in Aberdeen, said: “We’re really pleased one of our charities has been awarded funding.
“Staff from across the business have held a variety of fundraising events to raise vital funds for The Screwfix Foundation, so it’s fantastic to see the money we have raised being invested back into such a worthwhile community project.”
