A Scottish-born entertainer will be appearing in Aberdeen tomorrow – and he’s bringing his own audience from the United States.
Now based in Houston, Hugh Morrison is currently touring Scotland.
Originally born in Wick, the Celtic rock performer will be accompanied by a party of 25 supporters, including Kentucky-born instrumentalist Kendall Rogers and Kirkcaldy singer/songwriter Martin John McGroarty.
Hugh emigrated from Tain to Texas in 1998, and has made a successful career playing button key accordion, guitar and singing in a range of musical styles – but mainly Celtic rock.
Dates are also arranged in both Glagow and Edinburgh, as well as informal ceilidhs along the tour itinerary which includes many of Scotland’s tourist attractions.
Hugh will play Drummonds on Belmont Street from 9pm.
