Work on a safer route for pupils to their new Aberdeen school is set to start.
A cycle path will be created for Lochside Academy with part of Redmoss Road to close.
The street will be closed from Parkhead Farm and at Kildonan to become a cycle and walking route with access only being given to emergency services.
A new turning circle will be created at the road closures.
Education operational delivery convener John Wheeler said: “This work will mean pupils can walk or cycle to their new school in a more protected way, and we ask members of the public to be patient while the construction works are ongoing.”
