A ruling on plans for a drive-thru coffee shop on a north-east industrial estate has been deferred.

Westhill and District councillor Iris Walker said: “There was support for the principle of the change of land use.
“The planners had considered the concerns of residents, and we did make sure traffic impacts were considered as well.
“The unit would serve the businesses in the industrial estate.
“However, there were some concerns over the design and for that reason we have asked for the decision to be deferred.”
