A road in Aberdeen city centre is to close while a street market takes place this weekend.
Cars will be stopped from driving on Thistle Street between Rose Street and Chapel Street for the Thistle Street Food Market.
The traffic order from Aberdeen City Council runs from 6am on Friday until 8pm on Saturday.
Fraser Bell, head of legal and democratic services, said: “There will be a temporary prohibition of driving on Thistle Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rose Street and Chapel Street. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during a street market. A diversion is available via Rose Street, Huntly Street and Chapel Street.”
Motorists will also be forbidden to wait on either side of Thistle Street, between its junctions with Rose Street and Chapel Street, from 6pm on Thursday until 8pm on Friday.
The Thistle Street Food Market, which started in September 2016, aims to support local food producers.
