Part of a busy road was blocked after a crash near an Aberdeen bridge.
The Third Don Crossing’s northbound lane closed following a two-vehicle collision.
Emergency crews were alerted to the incident on Gordon’s Mills Road at about 7.30am.
It involved a grey Volkswagen Polo and a red Hyundai.
A male driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance with non-serious injuries.
First Bus rerouted its 19 service as a result of the incident. This is now back to normal.
Traffic remained open on the lane heading into the Granite City.
Tailbacks stretched back on the Bridge of Don side, with a contraflow system in place.
Police Scotland advised motorists to use an alternative route.
A fire engine from Aberdeen Central was also in attendance, but a spokesman said it was just to make sure the site was safe.
The road fully reopened at around 11am.
