A road will close for two weeks to allow resurfacing works to be carried out.
The B974 will shut between Cairn O’Mount and The Spittal from May 22.
A diversion will be put in place via Bridge of Dye, Bridge of Feugh, Redcloak and Fettercairn.
It is part of a series of road closures in the Marr area that will be taking place between now and September 30.
The B974 will be closed for five days between Banchory and Auchattie from May 15.
A number of unclassified road, including the old Slug Road at Shooting Greens: Balloch, Alford; Suie Viewpoint to Ford of Clatt, Alford; Confunderland; Glenbuchat Hall; and from the junction of the A97 to Kinnoir Sawmill will also close over the coming weeks.
Other closures include Grain Store to Montgarrie, Eslie Road, Mulloch Road, from the A96 junction to Pirriesmill, Craighead Drive, Huntly, and Tillylair Road.
There will also be a 20mph speed limit in place during preparatory works and post application aftercare, and lining and studding works.
During the same time period there were also be a number of roads in the Marr area affected by a convoy system.
This is to allow surface dressing to be applied and the speed limit will be 10mph.
