A busy Aberdeen road is to become one-way for a morning while a bridge is inspected.
Victoria Road, in Torry, will be one-way between its junctions with North Esplanade East and South Esplanade East from 5.30am until noon on Sunday.
Any vehicles looking to travel this route will be able to do so in a southbound direction only.
Fraser Bell, head of legal and democratic services at Aberdeen City Council, said: “The measures are necessary to protect public safety during bridge inspection works by Aberdeen City Council.”
There will be a diversion in place for traffic travelling northbound, redirecting them to Menzies Road, Queen Elizabeth Bridge and on to North Esplanade West.
Any queries on the restriction can be made to the Aberdeen City Council structures team at roadworkscoordination@aberdeencity.gov.uk or by calling 03000 200292.
