Organisers of the Scottish Curry Awards have announced the North-east nominees hoping to pick up the prestigious prize.
Aberdeen restaurants Shri Bheema’s, Monsoona Healthy Indian, Nazma Tandoori, Cinnamon, Cumin Tandoori, Ambal’s Indian and 8848 have all been nominated.
Away from the city centre Westhill’s Lasan and the Echt Tandoori are also in the running.
The award ceremony – now in its 10th year – will be held in Glasgow at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on April 24.
Last year’s winner, 8848 has again been nominated and is hoping to lift the prize for a second year running.
The lists of nominees also includes past winners the Echt Tandoori, which scooped Aberdeen’s top prize in both 2014 and 2015.
