More than 1,000 people attended Aberdeen’s emergency department in the space of a week, the latest figures have shown.
NHS Grampian released the data for the period between July 16 and 22.
At Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, 1,136 people attended A&E, with 93.9% of those assessed either admitted or discharged within four hours.
In comparison, 283 children were taken to A&E at the neighbouring Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, where 99.6% of those assessed were dealt with within the four-hour target.
Figures for Dr Gray’s Hospital were also released by the health board.
At the Elgin hospital, 512 patients were seen on an emergency basis, where 98.4% passed through or were admitted to the hospital.
