Pupils and teachers at an Aberdeen school were today remembering Bailey Gwynne on the first anniversary of his tragic death.
Bailey, 16, died at Cults Academy after being knifed by another boy during a fight.
Today the school was paying its own tribute to the aspiring Royal Marine by holding a special anniversary assembly.
Anna Muirhead, head teacher at the academy, said: “We will have an S6 assembly, providing the opportunity to acknowledge the tragedy and reflect on its impact.
“Pupils and staff have been supported throughout the year and will continue to be.
“Our focus is on maintaining normal school activities.”
