An Aberdeen shopping centre has had a record-breaking year for its annual Easter egg appeal.
The Trinity Shopping Centre campaign came to a joyful end with a cracking 5,871 eggs donated by shoppers.
They will be distributed to children’s charities, hospitals, hostels, creches and family centres.
Since the first appeal in 2001, the centre has collected 56,655 eggs.
General manager for the centre Linda Stewart said: “We would like to thank customers, retailers as well as local and national businesses that dropped off an egg that has helped cheer up someone’s Easter.”
