A busy city centre road is set to close for four nights to carry out railway bridge refurbishment works.
South College Street will be temporarily closed between its junctions with Queen Elizabeth Bridge roundabout and a point 75m along from this junction.
The closure will be in place from 10pm in the evening until 6am the next morning, from 10pm on Saturday, September 16 until 6am on Wednesday, September 20.
Aberdeen City Council said the measure is necessary to protect public safety during railway bridge refurbishment works.
An alternative route is available via North Esplanade West, Market Street, Guild Street, College Street and South College Street.
Meanwhile, part of Bon Accord Street will close to drivers for one evening.
The closure will in be place between Springbank Terrace and a point 15m in a southerly direction.
The temporary closure will be in place from 6.30pm until 10pm tomorrow.
The measure is necessary to protect public safety during CCTV pole replacement works.
An alternative route is available via Springbank Terrace, Crown Street and Ferryhill Road.
