Rail improvement work is set to bring disruption to a street later this month.
Station Road, in Bucksburn, is due to be closed from 7.30am to 10.30pm on August 27.
A closure order, put in place by Aberdeen City Council, aims “to protect public safety during the works”, which will be undertaken by Network Rail.
The work, which has been part funded by the Scottish Government, will improve the rail service between Aberdeen and Inverness.
Network Rail hopes the improvements will benefit a new station in Kintore, as well as more services that come through Aberdeen station heading to the Central Belt.
It is also anticipated that the work will mean more regular services between the Granite City and Inverurie and Elgin.
The work has caused disruption in Dyce and Bucksburn while it is carried out.
