Youngsters have been enjoying the benefits of music over the school holidays.
Torry children took part in the Big Noise Torry Summer Holiday Club held in Tullos Primary.
The free club, which runs until August 2, is open to P3-P6 young people who live in or go to school in Torry.
Kirsty Jackson, Big Noise Torry operations manager, said: “We are averaging about 45 children each day at our summer club.
“They perform in orchestral sessions as well as instrumental groups, and they take part in a wide range of activities ranging from football and basketball to highland dancing and arts and crafts.”
The after-school programme has moved to Walker Road and Tullos primary schools where in-school music sessions for nursery to P3 are also held.
Big Noise Torry, which is run by the charity Sistema Scotland in partnership with Aberdeen City Council, uses music to help children living in disadvantaged communities.
The after-school club for P4-P6 starts on September 4 with primary three youngsters joining in the new year.
