Dozens of young people are preparing to take to the stage of Aberdeen Music Hall next week for the event.

The concert is always a highlight at this time of year with the talented children who take part guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Children from Sunnybank School will be among the groups who will perform on the evening.

Donna Kidd, head teacher at Sunnybank School, said the P2/3 children were performing a mixture of tunes.

She said: “The choir is going to be singing Rocking around the Christmas tree and Silent Night.

“They have been very busy rehearsing and are very excited.”

Mrs Kidd said their families would be watching the event.

She said: “There will be a lot of parents coming along to show their support at the event.”

Other schools performing on the night include Forehill, Dyce, and Braehead.

Musicians from Aberdeen City Music School, Aberdeen Music Centre Senior Brass Band and Portlethen Academy Concert Band are also on the bill.
