Consultation events are to be held to build plans for north-east health hubs.
Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP) are working with NHS Grampian to claim funding from Scottish Government for the hubs in Banchory and Ellon.
As part of the process, the bodies are looking to garner public opinion into how people access healthcare.
The events, at the New Inn in Ellon on April 30 and Banchory Guide Lodge on May 1 from 3-7pm, will be paired with an online survey.
Rhona Atkinson, the chairwoman of the Integrated Joint Board at Aberdeenshire Council, said: “This is a real opportunity for communities to be at the very heart of the design and delivery of a new health and social care hub.
“This is the first step in what will be a long process but we will keep our communities informed.”
