A social care partnership has announced a programme of events to thank unpaid carers in the North-east .
Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership – in collaboration with a charity that supports adults with a disability, children and families, people with epilepsy and young adults – announced the schedule of events to invite those caring for others to learn more about Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 and to share information about local resources.
Results will also be announced of a poetry and photography competition run jointly with charity Quarriers.
The first event will take place on Monday, April 16, in Banff Springs Hotel from 1pm to 3pm, with refreshments provided.
Young carers are also invited to Garioch Heritage Centre on Wednesday, April 18, from 1-3pm, Stonehaven Town Hall, on Friday, April 20, The Waterside Hotel in Peterhead on Monday, April 23, The New Inn Hotel in Ellon on Wednesday, April 25 and finishing with a session in Banchory Lodge Hotel on Friday, April 27.
